Serpentine
The Serpentine , also called the snakes , are an ancient race of cold-blooded reptilian anthropomorphic snakes originating from the realm of the Wyldness . [ 1 ] They were met with the First Spinjitzu Master , who help migrated them on a mass exodus to the land of Ninjago where they became the dominant species alongside humans thousands of years ago in the First Age. Both races living a fragile peace as King Mambo V had made a non-aggression pact with the First Spinjitzu Master ensuring that neither race could enter the territories of the other. . When the First Age ended, they warred with each other for countless years until Arcturus banding them together during the First Serpentine War to fight against the humans. Led by the sons of the First Spinjitzu Master and the Elemental Masters , the people of Ninjago rose up and locked them away in fi ve sepa rate tombs , one for each tribe ( Anacondrai , Hypnobrai , Fangpyre , Constrictai , and Venomari ). 40 years after the war, they were released by Lloyd Garmadon and Pythor , the latter of whom united the five tribes in a bid to conquer and destroy Ninjago. After claiming the Fangblades , Pythor unleashed the fabled Great Devourer from the Lost City of Ouroboros .
