Royal Family of Ninjago
The Royal Family was the imperial family of Ninjago . Despite their titles, they were not truly Ninjago's rulers and were not involved in public affairs, having been figureheads with no real power of their own. [ 1 ] . After the Attack of the Great Devourer caused the death of her parents, Harumi was adopted by the Emperor and the Empress and became the Jade Princess. Years later, upon the Sons of Garmadon ’s quest to obtain all three Oni Masks , and with one of them being guarded by them, the Royal Family hired the ninja to protect them and the Masks. However, the family and the palace were later massacred by the Sons of Garmadon, with Harumi being the only survivor as being rescued by the ninja, but later revealing herself to be the mastermind behind the Sons of Garmadon's quest and attack. Harumi was later killed by the collapsing of a building during Emperor Garmadon 's takeover, though was resurrected by the Overlord and returned as his herald. .
