Following the Battle of the City of Temples against Thunderfang , the Arc Dragon of Focus split into two halves and fell into a deep slumber within the Caves of Bells in Mysterium and Djinjago . . During the spectral invasions orchestrated by Thunderfang, the ninja devised a plan to awaken the Arc Dragon of Focus in hopes of finally ending the threat posed by the Dragon of Chaos. To achieve this, three teams were assembled: Sora , Frak , Wyldfyre , and Riyu traveled to Djinjago to awaken the tan half, Nya, Kai, and Jay journeyed to Mysterium to awaken the purple half, and Lloyd and Arin went to the Spectral Lands to use the Unbidden Storm in order to unite both halves of the Arc Dragon of Focus. . After Thunderfang’s defeat, the Arc Dragon of Focus expressed gratitude toward Lloyd and Arin for their guidance, while also warning that the Source Dragons would not look favorably upon the events that had transpired.
